In a statement signed by Prakash C, President of Akhil (Revolutionary), it is said that “Indian imperialism is interfering in Nepal’s national independence and geographical integrity through unequal treaty agreements, unequal trade and border encroachment in dozens of border areas including Lipulekh, Kalapani, Maheshpur, Susta. Its Nepalese youth students and patriots protested nationally
They are also continuously advancing the independence movement. India, which is emerging as a regional power, is at odds with all its neighbors due to border disputes, interference in internal affairs and aggressive policies. Due to this dispute, there have been wars with some neighbors.
In this context, when the Indian Prime Minister inaugurated the new parliament building in Delhi, our attention has been drawn to the issue that the map of India placed in the parliament building, including Nepal’s Lumbini and Kapilvastu areas, was shown as India’s territory. An independent neighborhood Including the territory of India in its map is not only a direct interference on Nepali independence but also the culmination of the encroaching policy, thinking and behavior of Indian imperialism towards its neighbour. Meanwhile, Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is going on a visit to India today on May 17. From this visit, we also request the government of Nepal to cancel and review the unequal treaty agreements made with Nepal and to immediately remove Nepal’s land from the map of its parliament and take steps to correct the mistake.
